Qinkai Steel Stainless Steel Aluminum Frp Solid Strut Channel/Section Steel

Short Description:

41x41mm, 41x21mm, or 41x62mm Steel, Aluminium, or FRP Plain Channel/Strut in 6m lengths; Stocked in standard or ribbed profile versions

Technical Details

The load values shown are in accordance with AS/NZS4600:1996, using a minimum yield stress for Fy of 210 MPa on plain channel/strut.

The published results are based on a uniformly loaded, simply supported span.

Deflection has been calculated using standard formulae at the maximum permissible stress.

Back-to-back Steel Strut Channels are spot welded on approx. 3” centres
Standard lengths are 10 feet (-120) and 20 feet (-240)
Back-to-back strut can be cut to custom lengths at the factory
Add finish and length in inches to Channel Prefix above for Catalogue No. (S2BB-G-120)
Channel edges and nut’s tapered grooves act as guides to provide positive alignment of connection.
Nut teeth grip the channel’s inturned edges, tying the channel sides together in a “box” configuration for added strength.
Longitudinal movement of nut is resisted as hardened teeth bite into the inturned edges.
Each channel incorporates a continuous slot along the full length and inturned edges that allow infinite design possibilities and cost effective installations. Standard lengths are 10 feet (-120) and 20 feet (-240).
All single Unistrut Channel members are accurately and carefully
rolled from strip steel to AS1594 and AS1365. Spot-welded combination
members are welded 75mm (maximum) on centre. Some
members may require fillet welding.
